Chakras are connected to meridian lines, known as nadis in yogic tradition. Nadis are energetic pathways that move prana (life force energy) through the body—similar to how nerves transmit signals.
The three main nadis are Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna.
Sushumna runs up the spine and is the central channel through which chakra energy rises.
Ida (left side, feminine energy) and Pingala (right side, masculine energy) weave around the chakras, helping to balance emotional and physical states.
